San Antonio Botanical Garden

Established in 1980 as a nonprofit organization, the Botanical Garden has inspired people to connect with the plant world and understand the importance of plants in our lives. Centrally located in the heart of San Antonio, Texas, the Botanical Garden has been nationally recognized for its commitment to outstanding displays, botanical diversity, education, environmental stewardship, and cultural exhibitions that bring people and the natural world together.


Lightscape (Nov. 19, 2021 – Jan. 2, 2022)

San Antonio’s newest holiday event, Lightscape, is making its Texas debut. Guests will be enchanted by magical light displays set along a beautifully illuminated one-mile path winding through the Botanical Garden. Mean Green Brunch (Dec. 12, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.)

Bring your kids to the San Antonio Botanical Garden for a special family-friendly brunch with the mean one himself, the Grinch. The event features a delicious holiday brunch, hands-on activities, cuddly-as-a-cactus photo ops, and more. Includes access to the Botanical Garden. A cash bar will be available for guests 21 and over.
